  22.     In order to make good use of this CD-ROM the following
  23. utilities are almost essential;
  24.  
  25.              PKXARC.EXE
  26.  
  27.              LIST.COM
  28.  
  29.     They are contained in the root directory on the Disc for
  30. your convenience.  We strongly support the shareware concept at
  31. ALDE Publishing and recommend that you register your copy of
  32. these utilities (see PKXARC.DOC and LIST.DOC).

  34.     Their usage is as follows;
  35.  
  36.              PKXARC -E <FILENAME.EXT> (to unARCive a file)
  37.  
  38.              LIST <LISTNAME.LST>
  39.  
  40.     You can copy both into your path (i.e. your root directory,
  41. DOS or UTIL subdirectory) where they will be immediately
  42. available.
  43.     For help type;

  45.                    PKXARC <RETURN> (To get a list of commands)
  46.  
  47.                    <F1> (After you've started the program)
  48.

  51.     We have made significant efforts to improve the quality and
  52. quantity of this disc.  All files have been categorized into the
  53. proper subdirectories.  The subdirectory list has been expanded. 
  54. Two master lists are included in the root directory; one sorted
  55. by filename and one by subdirectory classification. In additrion
  56. an RBBS formated subdirectory is included in the RBBS
  57. subdirectory!  A master list of the subdirectory is included in
  58. each.  And a list of the subdirectories is included in each
  59. subdirectory and the root directory.
  60.  
  61.     The entire disc was searched for duplicates.  However not
  62. all files with duplicate names were deleted.  If the files were
  63. significantly different in size, or for some other reason did not
  64. appear to be the same an effort was made to categorize them in
  65. separate subdirectories.  These files probably account for less
  66. than 1% of the total so don't worry you're still getting you're
  67. monies worth!

  69.     Also all the lists were cross checked against actual lists
  70. taken from the subdirectories.  This was done to enhance the
  71. accuracy of the list and make your life easier when you're
  72. searching for a program.
